slow miles again - legs feel sluggish - this is it before the half marathon on Saturday.  I feel like if I do more, I won't be able to finish that race.  60 min.

Good luck! Make sure you report back to us! Hope you have better weather than we are having in Utah at the moment!

Go get 'em! I'll be waiting to read your race report. What is your goal time?

I thought that I was the only Memphian on this blog (actually Arlington). I will be spectating for the first time in years due to an injury. Best of luck to you today (5:40 a.m.). The weather looks perfect!

Thanks for all the good luck wishes! Hi Mikey B. Glad to see another Memphis-area runner here. Sorry to hear about your injury - hope you are recovering well! Are you back to training/racing?

From Mike on Sun, Dec 02, 2007 at 08:42:58

Yes, I am recovering from two stress fractures. They were my first two injuries, ever. I have been back at it for 2 months and could have run the half this year, but I am too hard on myself and wouldn't allow myself to run unless I was in PR shape. My stupid, male ego won out. It was fun spectating and I have already registered for the G-town half in March! I was going to Boston in April, but a family trip to Disney in February will probably wipe out future vacations for the next 10 years. It is on hold at the time.
