10:00 am - 9 miles with downhills.  Right IT band is still tight and back of right knee also hurt after the run.  Stretched and Iced the right knee area after the run.  Piriformis muscle also hurts on the right.  Maybe I'm running too long too soon.  Should I just stick to shorter runs for a week or so, maybe 5 to 7 miles each?

Rest day - IT band and piriformis muscle still sore today.  Will try a shorter run tomorrow.

7 pm - 7.8 mile loop around lake and back home.  Felt very good, not IT band tightness.

6 pm - triathlon bike - Big House loop, partially on my own, partially with the group I finally caught up with.  Started to feel the IT band tightness again while riding.

8:30 pm - 4 mile loop - IT band still feels tight and a little sore.

Overslept and then had other obligations after work - just no time to run!  Will need to get back into the regular program next week.  Race tomorrow at work.

3:45 pm - United Way fundraiser race at work.  Several rolling hills.  Looks like this is a PR - hopefully the course was measured accurately!  Ran another .9 mile cool down
