7 am - ride with the triathlon team - 46.3 miles, good ride.  However, because of time spent on midterms and family obligations for the holiday later in the day, there was no time to squeeze in the run.

Is this the same group you had a hard time keeping up with a while ago? Is it getting easier? I bet it is fun to ride with a group.

Yes, it is fun to ride with a group. It was a good ride, not because I could keep up with them but because it was one of the longer rides I've done this year, and I felt good at the end. Long story about the ride itself, but to make it short, the only way I was able to keep up was after the mid-point rest stop, one of the faster guys broke a chain, and at least 20 riders had to stop and look or "help". He was ok and there was someone from a bike shop on the ride to help him, so I just went on ahead, anticipating that the main group would eventually pass me, which they did in the last 4-5 miles. I enjoyed the ride on the 5th much more since there were riders with a greater range of abilities and several I could ride with.
