Hey Nikki, I've been out of commission and haven't checked your blog in a while. Were you able to run Boston? How did it go?

Hi Michelle, Thanks for asking! I did run Boston, and it was an awesome experience. Until about 10 or 15 minutes after the race when I developed slight hypothermia and ended up in the medical tent for about a half hour or so. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would love to do it again now that I know more about how to do the race. The hills at the end are tough, and I ended up with a nagging injury that has lasted until just about a week ago. I have run a few races since Boston but felt I really had not business racing with this injury. Today, I ran a 5k in the local road race series without pain, so I'm hoping I'm on the road to recovery. Looking forward to getting back to the running blog and hopefully qualifying for boston again - I missed it by 2 minutes at boston.

Hope you are back in commission and running again!

Best Regards,

Nicki
