Went to the podiatrist after work to find out about replacing my worn-out orthotics.  He said they are pretty old and have deteriorated, so he did the foot mold with cast material and ordered new ones. They should be in within a week and a half.  He's doing the bike portion of the Memphis in May Triathlon on a relay team and another triathlon later in the summer in upstate New York.  He's from the same area (Finger Lakes) in New York where my grandparents lived (and my uncle still lives).  Small world.

What book were you discussing?

Hi Michelle, We were discussing 'Mr. Sebastian and the Negro Magician' by Daniel Wallace. Most people in the club said they didn't dislike the book but they weren't really crazy about it either. I did not get to finish it because it has been such a busy month, and fortunately, the book club is pretty laid back about whether you finish or don't finish the book. I have finished and enjoyed most of the books we've read, but I guess I didn't really miss anything on this one! Next month's book is the Kabul Beauty School by Deborah Rodriguez which looks very interesting. I love my book club, they are a fun group of ladies!
